On our Japan retreat we will be meeting in Tokyo, at the Mecure Hotel Hibiya, and travelling together, the next day, to the retreat centre in the Kiso Valley. It is easy to get to the hotel from both of Tokyo’s main airports: Haneda airport and Narita airport. Please see below for more detailed info.

GETTING AROUND TOKYO
- Subways and trains are the best way to get around Tokyo.
- If you are planning on arriving early and exploring the city; a prepaid ‘Suica’ or ‘Pasmo’ card is easily the best way to pay for transport.
- You can buy a Suica card online at Voyagin.com for pickup at the airport (but this isn’t necessary if you are not planning to explore the city before our meet and greet).
- Taxis are excellent but rather expensive.
- Buses aren’t recommended for short-term visitors.
