ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Yoga for Kameliya is so much more than a physical practice .The knowledge of anatomy, drawing from both Eastern and Western observations, including the philosophical aspects that inform the practice, have changed the way she interacts with both herself and the world around her. Kameliya incorporates elements of these teachings in her yoga classes, giving meaning behind the poses and bringing the postures to life. Her classes are focused, yet playful and creative, encouraging curiosity and exploration of nature. Kameliya encourages her students to find balance between strength and softness, challenge and ease, fluidity and stillness.

Zuzana (Suzie) chose to train in Vinyasa Flow because of its beautiful combination of breath and movement. With practice, Vinyasa Flow can feel like a dance. She qualified as a teacher with Yoga London at Kagyu Samye Dzong, a Tibetan Buddhist centre with a strong focus on peace, health and meditation. Alongside the core yoga syllabus, Suzie met and learned from teachers of anatomy, Sanskrit, Mantra chanting, philosophy and Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine). Since qualification, she has participated in workshops in Anatomy and Chakras and attended yoga classes abroad.
Suzie believes that the variety of yoga is its beauty and strength. She practises yoga every day and teaches many students in her Vinyasa Flow classes, as well as in small groups and private classes. Martial arts have roots in yoga, and she has taught members of a local martial arts club, as well as golfers, cyclists, runners and tennis players.
Suzie has become interested in a more balanced lifestyle that promotes good health through nutrition and exercise, and in which Nature and our environment are very important. Through regular practice, she has improved her breathing and posture, strengthened her awareness and concentration, and become calmer and more confident. Yoga has led her to a life full of joy.

WHAT TO BRING
Chamonix Mont Blanc is the most beautiful Alpine region in Europe and as with all mountain regions, the weather is unpredictable. It can be extremely hot on sunny days and occasionally very cold even in summer, so it’s always a good idea to check the weather report right before you travel.
We recommend bringing hiking boots or sensible outdoor footwear, sunglasses, sun cream, a bathing suit (for the hot tub / spa / pool), a backpack, a waterproof coat, a hat and warm layers. Don’t panic if you come unprepared or forget anything, there are plenty of shops in town.
The yoga classes will take place on the decking outside the chalet surrounded by the stunning Mont Blanc mountain range but we do have an indoor room to use on rainy days. We provide blankets as well as all yoga equipment (mats, blocks, bricks, straps, bolsters, eye pillows and blankets) but please bring extra layers in case of cold days.
We also provide towels and bathrobes at the chalet so no need to bring your own.
During the meet and greet we will go over the schedule and weather report so we can adjust the schedule a bit if necessary (hiking on sunny or slightly overcast days). We will fit the massages in around the schedule.
